Car Details

Description: Body is rough with alot of surface rust and thru spots within lower panels. Doors and trunk lid still close solid. Frame seems to be solid. May have a couple of spots that need repair. Nothing that a good welder can't fix. Trunk will need some flooring work. The car has drum brakes on all 4 wheels. It has a 10 bolt rear end. No AC. Interior is in good shape for it's age but will need new carpet and the seats recovered. Floor boards seem to be fairly sound. No tears in the headliner or dashboard. Original engine was a 307 with a 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission. When I aquired the car 2 years ago there was no engine or trans. The car is still without an engine and transmission The headlight assembly's are complete & in the car. The front clip has been taken off the car a couple of times so it is not completely together but all parts are with and in the car. All body panels & most parts to restore this car are available through Cars Inc. on line . FYI - The Impala SS reverted back to an option for 1968, The SS option was now available on three models, the convertible, the Sport Coupe (hardtop coupe), and the Custom Coupe. This car can be turned into a SS if desired.This car is not currently drivable. It will have to be picked up or shipped. This car could be a great father & son, a family or just a retiree project. A $250.00 non refundable deposit is required. Balance due upon reciept of car in cash, money order or cashiers check. Vehical may be delivered by seller for a separate fee payable in advance. Please note if seller does deliver the car the cost will not include any profit. Seller will answer all questions the best he can when asked. Take note -- no post auction offers will be accepted without the deposit completed first. Have dealt with to many dead beats after the end of auction. Car is being sold in whole no parting out will even be considered.
